The Oregon Scientific unit I purchased years ago, lasted and lasted. This one, only 15 months. But, the transmitters that work with this unit don't work with other OS units, and I returned the OS unit I did buy for that reason. Found this one, seemed to be what I needed, but now the display just goes crazy and is unreadable about once a week. I'm back in the same boat I was - do I buy three new transmitters to be compatible with a new unit, or do I replace this unit and keep my transmitters, hoping the thermohygrometer will last longer.

It is nice to have a remote in the basement to check humidity. I had a problem with one and the company was very responsive in replacing it. They work well.

Functions as advertised. I have the remote sensor in my crawl space. It's been functioning for three months now in 90 percent hungry just fine.

Set up was so easy. Instructions were great to understand. It does all that we needed. We wanted it for the kiln, but we use it everywhere. Especially the basement.

I was disappointed to find that the remote should not be in the direct sun or any weather. I would like to have it be more waterproof as an outside thermometer.
