I installed a new wall furnace and pipes were in a crawlspace that was difficult to see using the liquid detector...this made the job very easy to check for leaks...easy to use...the hardest part was getting the right pipe lengths to align with a blind hole in the floor! Furnace working great for 2 years now. This is a great tool for checking gas pipes, indoors or out, and can even detect the methane let loose from someone's pants! You'll know the truth behind Who did it?

I like this gas leak the doctor is very handy and works at home or on cars to find that gas leak.

Meter and beeper went crazy when I let a little gas out from the stove. I was able to smell the gas too though. It seems as though it works as advertised. Make sure you read instructions. Apparently I have no leaks but in reality I have no real way to check the machines sensitivity without a lot of effort, time or cost. Maybe I would have been happier had I found a small leak? Ironic? Anyway I have no real complaints except that, when will I use it next? Was it worth it?

Was able to locate a very small natural gas leak. This is not something I do every day but for my purposes this item served its purpose.

The device is good. Bit is not thought off button. But if you carefully use and get used to, it is not a problem.

Gas Dog worked fine. This was my first such tool and it did take a little time to get familiar with its operating mode. Patience is the key to using this unit. It may take 10 seconds before it registers the leak. Again, the importance of patience in scanning joints for potential leaks cannot be ignored. It found two small gas leaks in the crawl space under the house. All is now well.
