This is a very good quality item. It has the adapter with it, so it can be used with either a coarse of fine thread drain. I did purchase an addtional one for my 2nd bathroom remodel.

This is the third and final drain of this type I have installed in the past few weeks. The others came from Lowes and an ebay seller. Needless to say, the quality of those was decidedly lacking. This is a solid piece of hardware. It feels heavy when you first pick it up. The finish is very nice. The bushing is brass, unlike the cheap plastic that Lowes sells. The lift and turn component is solid on its spindle unlike the ebay offering that felt like a wobbly top. And most importantly, when engaged, water stays in the tub.If I had bought this product instead of trying to save a few bucks on items that were poor quality, I would be have saved money in the end.Oh yeah, mine is the oil rubbed bronze. Nice color!

Thankfully, the fine threaded neck on this drain fit my existing plumbing. The extra bushing is meant for course threaded plumbing, in case you have that size. Be sure to check your existing drain before ordering one without this bushing (did that...returned it). They were easy to install (don't forget plumber's puddy under the drain) and they match my existing polished brass faucets well enough, considering my faucets are 30 years old. I wish I had replaced the chrome parts and rubber plug years ago!

This is very pretty and heavy duty- I am pleased with the initial product. If this holds up in water I will be thrilled.
