I was debating between the Wilson Evolution and this ball. I went with the Solution based on past experience using it between 2005-2007. Turns out they have tweaked the ball since then. "It's now called the "Solution Indoor Game Ball" and is a little heavier than expected and needed some working in before it had that soft feel. It definitely had a different feel and look that the original Wilson Solution. I like it, but I might have chosen the Evolution if I could have actually gotten my hands on it before deciding.

All of the prices I have seen this month have been marked up AT LEAST $15-$20! DO NOT BUY THIS BALL FOR MORE THAN $45!I just picked it up (28.5 for my son who plays AAU) at a local store that had them overstocked for $29.99. I suggest that you shop around before buying. As for the quality, it's just as others have said. We normally play with the Spaulding TF-1000 or the Evolution but the price on this 1 was unbeatable. The Solution has a softer grip than the TF-1000 and feels more balanced than the Nike Elite Championship. I bought the deep channel ZK Pro but my son wasn't immediately impressed with the feel when you go to spin the ball on the catch.I understand that many of you are last minute shopping but if you buy these, you will assuredly overpaying...by a lot.

I bought this ball after much thought. Everyone has the Wilson Evolution, and I love that ball, but it is always available so wanted to add some variety. I first bouth the TF-1000, but that was hard as a rock, felt small, and overall did not seem to be high quality. I then decided on this ball, loved it's soft feel.It feels great and dribbles great, it still is not selected over the Evolution @ games or open gym, I think b/c people are afraid of change! My only issue with the ball is how easily is gets scuffed. After my first time shooting around it had lines all over it from hitting the rim or the top of the backboard. Now I have been using it for a few months and the ball still plays great, however it has lines and scuffs all over it, makes me weary on how long this ball will last!

I recently purchased both this ball and the popular Spalding TF-1000. Although intended for indoor use, I've played with both mostly on hard court outdoors. They're both great balls, but the Solution has definitely stayed tackier after about 6 months. The Spalding's cover seems to be more durable, though it's also a little more slick. I'm more inclined to stick with the Solution and just buy a new one every year.

This ball has excellent grip, even after extended play. It also has just the right balance. After buying it, it is always chosen as the game ball for my rec league. It is more vivid orange than most high quality balls which was a little alarming to me at first, but the quality more than made up for the color. I looked at a lot of different basketballs before deciding on this one, but I am so glad I went with this in the end!

I haven't played with a TON of indoor balls, but this is as good as you'll get for the price range. I use it to the play at the Y and at other indoor events at various places. Everyone seems to like it. It also has a reddish hint to it which makes it stand out a little on the court. The only other ball I would get would be the official NBA ball.
