I am a public school PE teacher and out of the two sets of flag belts I have these are the better brand! I actually have never had one fail while the other brand has had flags rip the stiching and come off the belt strap and the belts fall off the students while they run all the time. The are just a poor quality product. The Triple Threat flag belts are simple the best I've experienced. I am ordering new ones to replace my other sub-par ones today! I can vouch for these that they will serve you for years and are worth the extra coin. These flags do cost more than others but there is a huge difference in quality and durability. I've been coaching my sons' flag football teams for 4 years now. I've bought other flags that come in nice little (too small) bags, and are less expensive but they just don't hold up for even 1 season. The clip comes apart creating a hazard when the little metal clip slides out. The flags come off the belt and get lost. Worst of all, the ones with the D rings that hold the belt together, do not come off when kids fingers get stuck in the belt. Fingers can get broken and ligaments torn (which happened to me when I played flag football). There are other flags made very similar to Triple Threat with sewn flags. I bought those too. They are almost as good as these but the clips are a little weaker so the pins come out.The flags I've bought like these have lasted all 4 seasons. I think they are the best made.

The clip is strong and the flags are spaced evenly. The XLG flags are for our Big Guys, the 220-280 pound group and they fit. The large size are more for 220 or less

The small size was great for 8 and 9 year-olds weighing between 65 and 80 pounds. These belts were sturdy as advertised and I ordered them becuase store-bought sets were so poorly made and would often fall apart with one or two pulls.

Maybe we missed it, but these were kids flags. Quite a surprise when 100 adults were waiting on them - bad day.

We have an annual USA vs England flag football game and each year the flags have been an issue. Each year we've broken at least 3-4 flags. These were a definite upgrade. The clips are sturdy and the construction is well stitched. No breaks this year. i will say this though: their sizing is off. I ordered mediums for everyone and they definitely don't go to 38. If you have any bigger guys definitely get the large to be on the safe side.
