I played fast pitch softball in high school & college and I learned the mechanics of pitching with a rag ball. Great for honing your technique, easy to use on a wall for catcher-less practice. Now that my daughters are learning (and I'm coaching) I stocked up on ragballs to teach the fundamentals of catching grounders, flies & throws without the fear of the kids being hurt as they learn the basic skills.

The 11" ragball is my Flatcoat Retriever's FAVORITE "fetch" toy. It is very easy for him to catch and bring back.He seems to like these much more than tennis balls. (After a few fetches, the tennis ball felt gets dirty and gooey.) Since the ragball doesn't have a felt cover, he plays with it all day.
