It is too hard to lay on it has no give to it at all. That is all I have to say.

Great roller, firm yet soft edges. Holds up well when used on a daily basis by several athletes afterPractices.

I use this by laying my back on it and rolling using my legs. This acts as a bit of a massage and spine manipulator. If I lay on it with the roller parallel to my spine, it stretches my chest muscles, which is great!

Love this roller. I had a spot along my spine that had been hurt by repeated exercise. Not enough to stop but it was always there and bothering me. This roller has been the closest therapy for me outside a real massage. I highly recommend it.

Newbie to Pilates here. This exactly what we use at the studio. Still learning how to use it - I should have bought a 'how-to' book as well. Since it's the only one I've ever used, I don't have anything to compare it to.

The firmness of this roller makes it ideal for massaging my tired muscles from teaching fitness classes. I'm not going to lie, you definitely have to enjoy the hurts so good kind of massage. I have definitely yelped with pain when I'm using it, especially on my quads, but I swear it helps with overall soreness and fatigue. I'm 40+ and teach 7 classes a week, if that helps anyone out there! I definitely need this roller more now than I would have in my twenties.
