I've used this as a small anchor line float when kayak fishing. In case I have to disconnect quickly, this holds my anchor line above the surface so I can retrieve it later. It's stood up to strong sun and saltwater just fine.

Ordered 2 of these at a discounted price with free shipping. I use one for highlighting the 3/8" anchor line off of the bow. Use the other for when throwing a line out into the water for various purposes. My only complaint is that the 1/2" hole in the center is not exactly 1/2". It's more like 3/8" making it difficult to feed a 3/8" line through. Wish it were really bigger.
