This is a great block by hugger mugger-very solid and durable. I have looked at ither brand blocks and they all seem to have a bit of give or are made from some cheap material. The 4 inch platform is perfect for sitting on during short meditation/pranayama or for added height in seated poses.

I already had one block and needed a second one like it. These blocks are very sturdy and great. I like them a lot better than other ones I have seen and tried.

this yoga block is quite nice...much firmer than the gaiam yoga foam block, but still light enough that you can carry it around

I have used one of these blocks at my yoga studio for years -- they have a pretty wide selection so I was able to choose the one I liked best.Very stable, perfect amount of firmness and a good size for my practice. It did smell bad for the first couple weeks -- I unwrapped the plastic and just left it in an unused area of the house to air out -- but now it's fine. Would give five stars aside from the initial smell issue.

good block, good price. friend suggested this block to me. Have used it for several months and this was a second I bought for my wife. not much else to say. it's a block and I can wipe it down easily. I suppose I would like a recessed flexible handle or something so when I am going from reverse triangle on the right to reverse triangle on the left. That might make it easier to move fluidly with me while keeping form. Moving the block also makes me get behind in the dvd often

I bought this yoga block because I use this brand of brick in my pilates class and was familiar with the quality. As far as yoga bricks go, this one is sturdy. The only issue is that the color is a bit darker (more olive?) than the picture of the green color shown.
