this is a very nice bag for the price. my son (12) uses it. it is the exact color of real army bags - so obviously cool for him.

This hiking pack is an exceptional value. For $32 I got a lot of backpack. Let me tell you why.The pack is essentially a water resistant duffle bag. The main compartment is as advertised: 24 x 13.5 x 8. That' s 2592 cu. in. (listed on retail tag). The side compartments are 12 x 6 x 2 and the top compartment is 10 x 10 x 2: 2936 total cu. in. All of the surfaces where the pack could be exposed to rain while hiking are lined on the inside with soft rubber (or some such material) to resist water. The main compartment cinches with a drawstring and the top compartment (lined with soft rubber) covers it nicely. It has all the compression straps you need to secure your gear in the pack. The shoulder and waist straps are padded and highly adjustable (this should fit any adult). The shoulder straps each have a plastic d-ring you can clip something to. On the outside back there is a large metal d-ring and directly below that two loops (the top one is adjustable) to hold a walking stick. There is also a loop at the top to hang the pack and keep it off the ground. This bag has all the room I need for 3 days in the woods. For the $$ it's well worth buying.

Used on a recent trip to Norway and Sweden, and it worked great! It is well designed, simple and robust. It is light, and works very well for a long trip (it has a lot of room inside) and also for a short trip (it is not bulky). The best I could find in the market!

Love it!!! I'm using this as my Go Bag for work and I never imagined I'd use it as much as I do. This thing rocks!!! I did break the ties on the top, but that was my fault for carrying it around with them. The only bad thing about this is a wish it had a pouch in the back for my laptop. This is a must by if your're looking for a big bag to carry all your stuff.

We ordered this for our don, who was traveling internationally. It had more than ample room for all his gear. The chest and waist straps made for a comfortable fit, and he didn't have to check it - it fit in the overhead bins. He loved it!
