If you have a kid wanting to jump rope, you have this nifty product. When my daughter learned to jump rope in 1st grade, she used this jumprope a lot. I like that it is weighted and swings with a bit of momentum. It makes that nice plastic scraping sound when hitting the ground.

Fun, sturdy jump rope. It's long enough for double dutch which is what we wanted. My girls have lots of fun and get lots of exercise.

So far these jump ropes have held up very well. We have only had them for a few months, but so far, so good. Wish they had more color options.

This rope is okay, but the plastic segments are nothing like the thick, heavy ones from grade school when you were a kid, so don't expect that. As a result, the rope doesn't carry as much inertia as the old school ones, so you have to work more at keeping the rope swinging smoothly.

This is a really great product! I wish they would just specify the length in the main title like they have in some of the other versions of this type of rope. I ordered this very late in the night so I was extremely tired and didn't realize in the description it stated 16ft long =). So like I said this is more a double dutch rope so buy 2 if you want double dutch.
