These balls are kind of pricey but they are perfect for what I needed. They can be thrown hard and don't float around in wind currents because they have enough heft. They have a tough exterior. You can hit someone hard and it won't hurt. Perfect for helping my kids learn to to play catch. Great for dodgeball, although a little on the small side.My son's dojo has similar balls that are larger that they use for dodgeball. The big ones are too expensive but these were perfect.Just don't let the dog get a hold of them because they are not dog proof.

These are great, especially if you are playing with kids as well. I don't know if this ball can be thrown hard enough to actually cause injury :) I took one square in the face from a fierce opponent and it only stung for 1 second. When thrown hard with spin they don't track perfectly across a large distance, but I've never seen a round ball that does.

Did not hold up more than 5 minutes in dog tug-o-war. Thought a dodgeball would be sturdy - not mushy.

Looking for commercial quality dodge ball to prep for your debut on the ocho....this is the best for practice and play.

This dodgeball is a little smaller than I expected, but I suppose I am to blame since I didn't compare specs. Regardless, it is still a dodgeball. It's weighted well and maintains velocity when you give it what you've got. I only needed one, but I recommend burying these in bulk if you plan on getting more than a few.
