Teach pitchers to target those outside edges! The orange 5" wide front marks and top white areas paint a visual target for the pitcher to find the "safe" strike zone edges. The "safe" zones cover an area 2" over the traditional home plate and 2" off the home plate. The rear portion of the Ultimate Plate is designed to help properly position the catcher. Teaches the catcher to center on the "safe" zone points, giving the pitcher an ultimate target to throw to on either corner of the plate. Ideal for baseball and fastpitch softball.
