The biggest complaint coaches have about sock screens is the relatively small size of many sock openings compared to the overall size of the screen. This "bottle neck" causes batted balls that miss the sock to rebound off the perimeter netting. This screen uses its entire 8' width to create our largest sock net ever, virtually eliminating this problem and creating an extremely safe hitting station! This functional screen also incorporates a horizontal waist-high divider to create two sock "zones" in
one screen. Balls are collected in either the bottom or the top half which significantly reduces bending over to collect balls. The two vertical cords divide the screen into six target zones which also makes this screen great for pitchers practice and fielding drills. As with all OIP Sock screens, the Big-Sock includes: a second layer baffle net on the back of the sock to improve ball capture; telescopic, swivel legs that lay flat; and collapses vertically to allow the screen to pass through ordinary doors for storage.
