Little League approved and meets rule 1.06 of the Little League rule book regarding release style bases mandated for the 2008 season. Reduces risk of sliding injuries for any age group. Unique magnetic design secures the base during normal play but will dislodge during hard slides. Interchangeable power plates bolt onto the bottom of the top base and adjust the hold strength of the magnetic fixture. Sold individually to allow you to use a less expensive, non-magnetic base for 1st.
