We used one of these at a friend's pool and knew instantly that we had to have one! My daughter is barely 3 and quite petite and this has worked out perfectly. It doesn't ride up around her neck the way life jackets do. She is able to freely move her arms and legs to learn the motions of swimming and she loves the independence this gives her in the water. I love it too because now there is no one hanging around my neck while I'm trying to enjoy the water. This keeps her shoulders/head above water but if she jumps off the side she will go all the way under. This also allows her to flip onto her back and then again to her belly so she's gaining a lot of confidence. Can't say enough good about this product!
