it is doing what it is suppose to do nicely . very portable and easy to use . I got it at a great price. Totally happy with the product .

I purchased this because I have a Targus usb 3 docking station with an HDMI and DVI-I out ports but I have two DVI-D in monitors. This worked perfectly to convert the HDMI port to a DVI-D port and connect a DVI-D cable to the external monitor.

The one I received has excess rubber/plastic deep inside of the HDMI connector. The connector will not plug all the way into an HDMI port. Not worth my time to return.

At first this item seemed pretty much perfect--a great price, everything worked, and it was shipped to me in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, today (almost exactly 2 months after purchasing it) the adapter just abruptly stopped working, and now I have to buy another one.

I've used it with both stereo and computer equipment...works perfect! I was looking for an inexpensive HDMI adapter, and this one did the trick!

I have the adapter plugged into the back of my laptop running a second monitor with a DVI connection. Works Great.
