I have 2 of these under a 20 gallon long tank. Keeps the tank about 10 degrees warmer than I keep my house (I prefer it cold so I keep my house below 70 all year) and this makes my hermit crabs happy. I havent had any problems with them yet

I've had this for over a month and so far so good. Used on 1ft cubed acrylic container (3gal) and it heats well without being too much.

This is a good product if you are looking to warm up your hermit crab tank 2 degrees nothing more and has trouble sticking.

I have this on the sand side of my crab tank and it keeps the sand at 80 degrees in my cold house. The crabs are happy & digging more in the sand now.

We have a plastic hermit crab cage with plastic bottom, metal bar sides and removable plastic lid. I attached this heater (has a sticky back) to a large dinner size plate then set the cage on top of it. The raised sides of the plates prevents the plastic cage to sit directly on the heater but plenty of heat radiates up through the stones we have on the bottom of the cage. The crabs are much more active now that they have a warmer place to sleep. Remember to spray them or keep them moist do the heat doesn't dry them out.

Since purchasing this heater, it has consistantly kept the 10-gallong fish tank that we use as our hermit crab habitat at proper temperature. It has been over a year, and has operated trouble-free.
