This clipper is wonderful to keep the dogs looking a little better between professional groomings. It is especially good on my Scottie who has a shaved down back. The clipper cut right through his coarse hair without a problem.

Comparing to the norwegian prices, the price was very good. It worked fantastic on my pets difficult fur and tangles.

My dad was a dog groomer and this is the model he used. I am very happy to say itworks great and I expect to have mine as long as he had his.

it shaves the labs better without the comb set. I found it louder than expected other than that works good my 2 dogs do not seem to mind it being loud

I have 4 dogs that need grooming, so I was looking for clippers that were fairly heavy duty and reasonably priced. I have only used them once so far and my only complaint is they do get hot rather quickly. They seem to be well built only time will tell.

My prior groomer charged me $100 per visit for my Australian Shepherd. He is old and could not stand long. I used to spend my time helping the groomer and he would get paid the $100. So, for the price of one grooming I bought the Oster A5 2-speed clipper. I am so glad I did. It went so smoothly. I was able to let my dog lie on the floor outside while I clipped him. He didn't have to stand the whole time like usual. It was easier for him and easier on my pocketbook. It made my life easier. Also, I found on a 60 degree day. It was comfortable and the blade didn't overheat so much! Don't hesitate buy one and you will be saving money in the long run. It is simple to do and as long as your dog cooperates, you really can't do any wrong. The blade does all the work!
