I bought this so we could pump some hot water into the pool during the early summer when the kids want to swim but the water's just too cold. Unfortunately, it would not fit on either my kitchen or downstairs bathroom faucet. However, it fits well on my upstairs bathroom faucet after removing the fashion thing on the faucet. Only downside is the big hose running up the back of my house to the upstairs bathroom and running up and down the stairs to take the water off. But, it does what we purchased it to do. And be careful because you will slice your finger if you aren't careful!

For anyone buying Lee's Ultimate Gravel Vac, this is a must have. The plastic adapter included in the kit did not work at all for me. Granted it could be the faucet, I know. Be very careful with the threads though. They are VERY sharp. Found that out the hard way.

I had the nylon plastic one and the threads didn't hold up and it would fall out. Didn't last one use. This one, however, I feel will outlast my fish tank. Came with a gasket. Exceptionally well made. Looks to be machined from pipe stock, not that sintered metal casting junk from China. Someone HERE in the USA made this thing by hand in a production machine shop and it shows.Adapter has male and female threads cut in the faucet side. Fits regular size aerators. Won't fit smaller aerators so be sure of your aerator size. One note: The bottom thread by the knurling on the hose side, because of the machining process, is really sharp and cut me while I was installing the adapter in the faucet. I'm going to file the sharp area a bit, but using a dish towel to tighten and loosen this adapter will protect your fingers. I'm still so impressed that the sharp edge doesn't cause this to lose a star.

this makes my water changes so much easier, i have used the plastic adapters and they will work a few times and then the threads end up getting worn out very quickly. this works great and seals very well. the only issue I had with this product was my initial test i realized that some of the threads are rather sharp, and they did cut up my fingers pretty good so just be careful use a towel or something to put this on to the tap to avoid getting cut up like I did.

This adapter is all I ever need to use with my Aqueon water changer. The fact that it's metal makes it even better than the plastic Aqueon brand adapter, that turned out to be the exact useless adapter that comes WITH the water changer. Just used my water changer for the first time tonight and it worked like a charm. Blinding speed, when changing the water in my largest aquarium. Just be very careful when screwing or unscrewing it from your faucet, as it is metal and can cut you. When using your bare hands, it's best to unscrew it from the gripped groove section strictly. Recommended.
