I always buy cuttlebones for my cockatiels, but always had a problem with the metal clip/holder that comes with the cuttlebone. It would always break off, fall off. I was constantly picking it up off the floor of the cage, UNTIL I bought THIS holder. It fits nicely inside the holder, it has a strap that holds it in place and as the cockatiels bite at it in never falls out of the holder. This in fact was a great buy for me!!

I just got it yesterday and put it in the cage and my parakeet cutie looked at it for a while then chewed on it alittle then got use to it. Now I dont have to worry about the cuttlebone falling down to the bottom with that metal thing since I have this.

This cuttlebone holder is great for keeping the cuttlebone hanging in the cage for my parakeets, and protecting the cuttlebone when they start munching on it. Previous purchases of cuttlebones came with wire contraptions to hang the bone on the side of the cage, and one well placed peck could destroy the rest of the cuttlebone before it could be used. This is a great solution.

Hartz used to sell cuttlebones in a box with a metal clip on holder but not anymore. This holder solves the problem perfectly. Medium sized cuttlebone fits just right and the little cup at the bottom catches any pieces that may fall.

It's real neat but I bought small size cuttlebones and they won't stay in it..should have bought larger size..Birdie pulls them out and drops on cage floor....:(

I was hoping this would be a good product but I did not hold my breath. Boy am I surprised and happy I got these! Wow my birds love them (I have a wide variety of birds). I was so tired of poop always getting on the cuttle bones, or the little steel bands letting go. Then you have a larger cleaning issue or you have to throw them away. Well I have those problems no longer!! It holds the cuttles nice and firm. There is no more dropping to the cage floor and they wrap around the cuttle just enough to keep the poop off. The perch accommodates a large variety of birdInsight Cuttlebone Holder Assorted 8 sizes. Plus it catches the soft shavings of the cuttle that would normally be lost on the floor. The hens and young birds alike seem to really like this! It attaches to the cage wonderfully and easily. I have issues with my fingers but found these very comfortable to apply to wire of the cages! Thank You so much whomever designed these!! Originally I bought 1, then after using it for a week I ordered a few more. I ended up getting one for every cage and aviary plus some to have on hand. If You have birds this is one of those rare products You really would appreciate having.
