Excellent heater for the price. I've always been pretty picky about heaters and I'm a bit of a brand snob. When I purchased a Fluval Edge 6 gallon tank, I wanted an adjustable, reliable heater. This keeps a consistent temp and has great suction cups (It includes two! Which is nice for positioning. I expected one because it is so small).

I use this heater in my 10 gallon tank, and it keeps the tank warm, too warm actually. Like other reviewers, my heater keeps the tank significantly warmer than what I set it to.However, my fish don't seem to mind. Unfortunately, algae loves it.

Works.Stuck this on a 10G (20 x 15h x 10d) aquarium (around middle back of tank) - set for 75 degrees.Started with regular tap water ~ 70.Next day, temp. as read from an internal thermometer (stuck front corner of tank) = 75.Increase setting to 78 & thermometer reading matches.Been running over a month consistently - w/ 2 bettas. No fluctuation in temp. readings.

You may have to tweek the temp a little but this works just fine. It's not that long so it does not hit the bottom of my tank and I use a peice of drift wood to hide it.

I bought this heater for a 10 gallon tank. It has an adjustable temperature dial on top, but it's not totally accurate, so it takes a little fiddling before you find the right temp setting. I've set my heater dial about 2 degrees cooler than the temp I want to keep the tank at. It seem to hold the temperature pretty well.... within 1-2 degrees F. This heater is fully submersible.

Works perfectly in my 10 gallon tank keeps the water warm and it is no obstructive nor is it ugly to look at!
