I received my first Amazing Graze toy yesterday, and am so happy with it already that I am ordering a second one! One of my horses figured it out almost immediately, and he won't let his sister near it! Fantastic!

My horses played with this all day long. It is made of heavy plastic with a wide screw on opening to load treats in and a small hole on the side that despenses out a treat as it is rolled along. At first the horses were puzzled by it but after a few min they figured out the operation and it keeps them entertained during the day. I plan to buy more.

I would give this five stars, but my horse has only had this for 2 months and its already badly chewed up around the hole where the treats come out. Although it looks indestructible, it's clearly going to wear out sooner than it should. I doubt I'm going to want to keep buying these at 60 dollars every 5-6 months. I'd give it 5 stars if it held up better. My horse loves it and greatly looks forward to carrots being put in. She immediately starts to work on it when it's put down. It only took her a few hours to figure it out, and it is great for curbing boredom and the bad habits that can come from not being stimulated. Please make it tougher!

I have seen this toy for a long time. Had I known how big and sturdy it was, I would have ordered it a long time ago. My horse is currently in a stall and run with daily turnout. But, he weaves when he is inside and he does better when he has something to distract him. I have tried several toys in the past. He is only interested in edible toys, but his favorite (Uncle Jimmy's Hangin' Balls) are a fly magnet, so I can't use them in the summer. This seemed like the best alternative.I wasn't sure he would really understand it. I thought he would get frustrated and give up. Since he likes to stand on anything within reach like ground poles, mounting blocks, chairs, etc., I thought he might also try to stand on it and crush it. Luckily, none of these were the case. He figured it out in just a couple of minutes, and it keeps him occupied for quite a while. It is very sturdy, and there is really nothing to stand on because it is round and he can't get a good hoof hold.Even though it works for what I wanted it for, it is not perfect. If you just have a stall, I think it would get messy because the horse will push it through manure. I am very lucky to have a run to put his in so it has stayed relatively clean, except for goobers. Also, it is hard to clean inside. Although I haven't had to clean it out yet, I think it will be hard to scrub it out just because of the odd internal shape. I am planning on taking it to a car wash and just blasting the dirt off with their soap and high pressure water. It works perfectly for what I wanted, and my horse is entertained without having a fly magnet as a toy.

I have a young ADD (attention deficit disorder) gelding who was chewing down the barn. Saw the good reviews this got, and once I got over the shock of it looking like a huge green penis (the photo doesn't do it justice!) I filled it with alfalfa cubes, carrots and hay, and my boy immediately figured it out. He works at it for hours, and it appears indestructible. This was well worth the price to keep my guy busy.

It is called Amazing because it truly it. I have a naughty Haflinger Pony, who gets bored easily even though he is in work consistently, has play and pasture time with his friends.Keeps him amused and gives him something to do for extra hours in the day. It has held up very well and the quality is awesome. He likes this much better than a jolly ball, that was to boring for him.
