My cat chewed right through the cheapy elastic string the mouse is tied to in a single day. It basically because a toy mouse after that.

My cat really,REALLY likes this toy !! She played and played with it for day's. She learned to grab it with one of her paws, put it in her mouth and take it in the next room, let go, andzoom, it flew away wildly. She did this so much that the cord broke. I had to fix it many times before she finally lost interest. We put it away for now, but will give it to her again in a few weeks.

She'll play with it if the dog isn't in the vicinity. The only issue I have with it is that it is clearly made for doors in newer houses. My house is 100 years old with wide woodwork and the clamp had to be modified quite a bit to make it hang from the top of the doorway.

I didn't give it 5 stars because I wish the string was a little longer. I don't have high ceilings so the top of my door is not that high. But she has to jump really high to catch it. She just turned one last week so she's not really little. But she does get a lot of exercise trying to jump in the air to try to catch it. She gets bored easily so this keeps her entertained for a few minutes each day. And the price was right!

Excellent product. I am very glad I purchased this! Extremely easy to put up and take down, and it's the cats' favorite toy.
