Works fine with Decker Hill's rings attaching chicken wire mesh to fencing. Also works well to secure barbed wire to sandbags used for SupeAdobe construction. Holds ring without pressure on the handles, making it convenient because one does not inadvertently either drop or prematurely close the rings.

What's to say. They work. I wish they were longer for more leverage on 6 gauge steel rings, but I don't run into that size too much. They work fine on 11 gauge steel and 9 gauge aluminum.

I wanted them for making sausage and they are WAY too big for that, but I needed some for light fencing anyway so they are great for that.
