Perfect fit for the sump system I purchased. I purchased for my Refugium to control my Phos levels in the Reef Tank.

I had reviewed the comments by other buyers and was reluctant to buy the light fixture. However, I contacted the manufacturer and was told that corrections had been made to the problem of lights burning out quickly. It was not an issue with the fixture itself but with the lamp tolerances. I will edit this review to give feedback on the longevity of the lights and how well the coral are doing in my 4 gallon nano aquarium. The unit worked right out of the box.

This fixture has 2 of the 9 bulbs (these are not common and are not available at your local petco/petsmart) some but not all local fish stores will have the bulbs, in short, plan on ordering replacement bulbs online. If you need something to light a planted tank much bigger than a 10gal, its not enough, otherwise its a great light.

Wish I would of read the reviews before I purchased this. I've had it about a month and both bulbs are burnt out.*Edit* 2/28/2013- Contacted Coralife and this was their response."We did have a little issue with the bulb tolerance as far as phosphor mix. If you can please forward a copy of your purchase receipt I can get some lamps out to you- that should resolve the issue."I really hope this is the case because I loved this fixture the short amount of time it worked. I'll update after I get the new bulbs.*Edit* They sent me 2 10k bulbs that have been about a month. So far - so good.
