I used to have one of these that just had the carabiner style clip, loved it, and it broke. My work gave me one with the money-clip style clip, and while it worked just wasn't the same, and would often come off my belt.I found this one online and it's great. I use the carabiner clip all the time and if my belt loops are too big I switch to the other one. The spring action is fine, and this will be my first choice for badge carrying from now on.

Very well constructed. A really good little product for ID's/badges. Plus very reasonable price. The recoil of the line works great.

This has been an excellent solution for my oldest son who has a key to the house. Several times, he has left the key in the door. Or he has left his key in his pocket or on a table, or some other place he cannot remember. This key ring now holds his key and the carabiner is attached to his school bag. We have not had any incidences of a misplaced key since the day he attached this carabiner to his school bag. The price is fantastic compared to others on this site and it does exactly what we need it to do (keeps his key in the same accessible spot at all times)!

I love this thing. 10 times better than my last retractible reel badge holder thing. I feels sturdy and seems to be well made.

My work recently updated their entry/exit system. This carabiner makes getting in and out a breeze - no more hunching over with the card around my neck. It fits well on the belt - very secure. Highly recommended!
