I bought this for a vintage Harmony Monterrey, that was a complete POS. I needed a high bridge because without one the guitar wouldn't play. Previously, I has resorted to shoving picks under the old bridge to bring the action up :( This bridge saved my guitar. The guitar now works perfect: no dead frets and nothing else to repair. The action is a smidge high, but not unreasonable and MUCH lower than I thought I would have to deal with to get this guitar to play. Big, sturdy, quality.

I bought this bridge for a F-Hole arched top guitar which was around 70 years old. The height of the strings was too high to play well,so I had to sand the bridge down quite a bit and then it worked perfectly.
