Pretty easy to assemble if you read the directions. Which I seem to always try and assemble before reading them.Instead being short a screw or endcap, each stool had one extra and that's was I gave it 5 starts. They have a very clean and unobtrusive modern look.

Perfect height for use at both the countertop and the countertop height table (Winsome Lynnwood Drop Leaf Table). Assembly was a snap. I especially like the even finish (considering the value pricing). Now to see how well it wears with use!

Ordered these for a counter-height peninsula in a remodeled kitchen. These stools are very sturdy. I had concerns initially because the legs seemed a bit thin. When I was ready to order the stools I needed, they had been put on a special purchase price of just $22. That's half price, so I went ahead and ordered them. The first stool took about thirty minutes to put together. The main difficulty was figuring out which cross-members went into which holes in the legs. Once I figured that out, I didn't need the instructions for the next three stools. These stools are seriously sturdy. I'm over 300 lbs. and they are absolutely solid under my weight.

Well-made of solid hardwood with a good finish. I bought two of these, and they were easy to assemble, very sturdy, and comfortable.
