As well as general pie storage. It can be a little tricky to get the lid to perfectly line up with the notches in the base, but once set it's very secure and absolutely perfect for pie transportation.

The lid closes very securely. I usually worry about products like this which use part of the closing mechanism as the handle, but the lid locks in place securely enough that I don't think I'll have any issues. The bottom is designed to hold only the pie plate that comes inside of it, but I have plates (the Noritake Colorwave 10.5-in dinner plates) that fit perfectly in the bottom so I can use this to carry cakes and other foods.

Love the glass Pyrex pie plate. Transport/cover has a loose feel about it. Makes safety unsure. Guess that's about it.

Does exactly what it says it does - carries pies. The bottom has a cutout that the pie-dish fits into - so your pie will not slide around.

This pie holder will keep your pie in place if you need to transport or carry it anywhere. It is very well made of hard plastic. It also will keep it fresh for several days. Dishwasher safe, too

No complaints here. I was a little nervous about carrying it with the handle so i usually carry from the bottom. I've had to use the handle a couple times and feels very secure.
