Versa-Hood™ Air-Supplied Hood can be used anywhere a Type C air-supplied hood is required. It is available in Tyvek® material in both shoulder-length and waist-length styles. Either style can be equipped for use with a plant air source or MSA's CompressAire™ Personal Air Compressor. When head protection is needed, a special three-point Velcro system secures the hood to an MSA V-Gard® Cap. The hood suspensions (basic or ratchet versions) are easily adjustable and stable, minimizing the need for a chin strap. The hood is designed to be disposable, thus eliminating the need for cleaning, and a twin-lens system extends the life of the hood. An air distribution system keeps the lens fog-free.
