Bought these for the kitchen counter at the house. Chairs were delivered promptly and pretty easy to put together. When putting the seat on, make sure you actually pop them onto the support so the hydraulics actually work--i just sat on it to make it snap into place. Very stylish, sturdy, and comfortable. My boyfriend's dad is a bigger guy and when he comes over, he actually prefers to sit in the stools and watch TV from the kitchen rather than the living room couches. Stools have no problem supporting his weight.

Delivery came quick, very satisfied with transaction. Ordered 4 stools, very easy setup. One stool came cracked... from shipping. But seller responded very fast & sent another one within 24hrs. Very happy with product, stool extends from approx. 30&34" from floor to top of back.. to 34&38" high, also smooth swivel. Only negative complaint is.. seat is very hard. But I Highly recommend seller & Product.

I have 4 white round bar stools in our all white new modern European kitchen, along the 10' long island, they look great, perfect match, comfortable, wide seat, good back support, light weight easy to move, non-scratch base, go up and down easily (not for light weight kids), smooth plastic seat and nice even chrome finish, super easy assembly, fully protected nice packing. Very happy with these stools.First ordered 2 from New York, very satisfied, then ordered 2 more from a complete different seller in California, all 4 are exactly same, same pure white color. One seat had surface crack along the edge, contacted seller, received a replacement seat next day.When I started the search for bar stools, I thought I need high back for extended sitting, turned out that is not how people use bar stools, I noticed people move around the kitchen nonstop as they talk or do whatever people do in the kitchen, get on and off, sit halfway, get on another one, move stools around or out of the way(this is very often, so light weight is very important, especially for women.) Unlike a dining chair, I observed people do not sit back in a higher bar stool, they sit straight or lean forward, high back is not needed.To our horror, we saw a lady friend dragging the stool across our brand new hardwood floor, the non-scartch base is important; she could have easily picked up the stool to move it, but that is what may happen, I wondered if she does that in her own kitchen.When my son came back from the Marine Corp, 2 of us sat on the bar stools and talked for couple hours at night, the stools were very comfortable, in fact, we did not notice them at all, they are just there being what they are and doing what they do, as bar stools, which in many ways is exactly right.We also looked at many expensive unusual stools, but in the end, I am very happy we picked these very simple and elegant modern pieces, they fit in and compliment the white kitchen, not overpowering the scene. 4 of them line up beautifully. Also considered same style but with padded leatherette seats, but white always get dirty, hard plastic is easy to clean and smaller in overall size, both are important long term, as we have hard to clean dirty white leather sofa, and room is always important in a busy kitchen, you can never have too much room. We will have 20 family members coming for Thanksgivings, it will be fun to watch how they are used.Don't know about long term durability, if they break, I'll buy 4 new ones. At this price, I can buy 10 new ones still cheaper than one expensive weird Italian made stool which may not last long anyway, I learned high price does not equal high quality. We are very happy with these bar stools.

The three chairs arrived within a week of ordering. The assembly was extremely easy. Instructions were precise. Very happy with the quality and comfort of the stools. Would definitely recommend. As others have said, they probably wouldn't hold more than 200#, or anyone with a "broad beam".
