With the drought in California, I thought it was time for me to do my part and get a low flow shower head. My previous shower head was a full flow rain type. Going from that to this was actually quite painless. I have average water pressure, not low, and not super strong. Yes, it obviously sprays less water, but on the plus side the aeration give the stream this lovely soft feel to it. With the full mode It actually feels like the difference of showering with soft treated water as opposed to hard water. It is completely sufficient to wash my hair and body, and feels kind of luxurious while doing it. The massage spray works but it kind of weak, I never like massage modes any ways. The turbo mode just sprays three harder streams out of the middle, not my cup of tea either. This shower head is about twice a loud as my old one (which was quiet). The aeration adds kind of a white noise component to the sound, kind of like the sound of a white noise machine you would use by your bed, or a water fall at a distance. It's pleasant and not irritating like some of those early low flow showers that sounded like jet engines.

Recently got this shower head and am incredibly happy. I primarily use the full setting. I'm not sure how it works, but the head seems to incorporate a small amount of air into the stream (perhaps a very fine pulse?) and gives a very nice, even shower despite using only 1.75 gallons per minute. Some people might not love this as much as I do - there is a vaguely misty quality to the stream, but I find it refreshing and don't feel like I am making any sacrifices with this.I haven't really used the other two settings much - the pulsating massage is less intense than some other heads I've used, but some of those are too hard for me anyway, so I am OK with this.

Great showerhead. Love that I'm saving money with this product without compensating an enjoyable shower, can't even tell it uses less water!

To be honest, this shower head is better than my original Hansgrohe Club Master. The spray volume feels like more and cascades out wider and at the same time saving water. Very happy with the purchase and highly recommend the shower head. Finally someone got a water saving shower head right!

My well water is so hard but this thing stays perfectly clean all the time! How did they do that? It's a really good quality shower head. The larger flat head makes a pleasing water flow. I can see the difference in water usage. I've had this for almost 2 years and I highly recommend it. My son gives it only 4 stars because he thinks turbo should be really strong.

For those of us who are conscious of our water usage, recognize the expense, and even better, recognize the environmental impact of what we are doing, a low flow shower head is a must. For those of us living in areas like Phoenix, anywhere in New Mexico, and so on, where the underground aquifer is not only 30% down but is also not being replenished, reducing our water consumption is the only rational thing to do. Finally, those of us who have installed tankless hot water heaters should and must use low flow shower heads if we want two people to take showers at the same time!Thank goodness this shower head design, which is also used in a hand held version (look for the head pattern to be sure you have the right one), provides a very satisfactory shower with only 1.75gpm water flow. I was initially concerned that the low flow would result in an uncomfortable shower that was mostly air and felt like it. I like a nice hot shower that covers me and warms me up in a very cold bathroom, and that is exactly what I got. The only surprise was when I turned my mouth up to the shower to get a mouthful of water and rinse out the nightly accumulation of gunk---it took twice as long to fill my kisser because the water flow was less. Should have known this, I guess, but you get used to the heavy outpour of water and this is different. Now that I'm used to it, not problem. I get a nice long hot shower and use half the water. Win-win situation, as far as I'm concerned. And yes, I've tried other low flow shower heads, and most of them are simply unacceptable. You feel like you are in a low temp steam bath, not a shower. I went through a half dozen before a plumber I know recommended this one, and I am very, very pleased. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for Hansgrohe for designing this one.
