This is a great little vacuum. It will suck your hat right off your head! The hose could be a little longer and though the power cord is long. A great portable vacuum. I would definitely recommend it.

After being disappointed with the ability of vacuum sweeper attachments to remove cat and dog hair from the couch and stairs we decided to try this as a last ditch effort before resigning ourselves to a life of sticky rollers. I wish I had started here. This machine was perfect, it cleans like a champ, has plenty of power, and can be used with the brush head or just as an open hose. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to finally find something that can do what a "dustbuster" was meant to do.

Have had trouble with long hair getting caught in rotating brush. After checking, its possible to take apart to clean out all hair. One problem I found is there where two small phillips screws covered underneth to the front of the brush. After drilling two holes to access the screws they could be removed. UNPLUG THE VAC!!!! To clean:1 Remove flip brush cover by using a flat edge screw driver and gently lifting the cover from each side to get them above the rotation points. Note that there is a black plastic horseshoe ring on one side that acts as a click mechnizism, Note the side and position, cause it will fall out and have to be replaced.2. Use a long small phillips screw driver and unscrew the front two screws and the two screws behind the brush, they are in the holes behind the brush.3. Gently lift the yellow cover underneath that covers the brush, pull from the brush slot and it will remove as one piece. Note, the brush has two white bearings that hold the brush in, try to keep the brush in against the motor and remove the cover. If not possible gently lift and watch for the belt hookup to the motor and brush. The motor may pull from its position so try to look underneath before pulling up to see how the belt wraps around the brush and too the motor.4. Pull the brush up and pull it out of the belt. Take the two white bearing tabs of the sides of the brush if they haven't fallen off. Us scissors and cut the hair off and clean the hair off the white bearing tabs.5. Replace the white bearing tabs to each side of the brush and put the belt around the brush on toothed area. Line up the brush with the motor and put the belt on the motor then tension the belt by pulling back on the brush and slide each white bearing tab into the vac.6 Take the cover and place it over the motor then work the white bearing tabs into the cover. The tabs fit in one direction so make sure they have slide into the vac unit then they will slide into the cover.7. Screw the back screws in then the front. The brush should spin again. There are people with long hair in the family, would recommend using a hand brush and sweeping once around the area to remove long hair. The vac has done well to remove grit and imbedded dirt. If there wasn't the long hair in the family I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have to clean out the hair every once in a while.

Its big. Its heavy. The power cord storage is too small for the cord. Those are the negatives. The positives. Its super powerful. Its very low maintenance. It does stairs like a charm. Its well built. Also if you own a RAINBOW VACUUM the attachments fit on this vacuum. The color is a little bold, I would prefer a different options but overall, I couldnt be happier with this Hand-Held Vacuum.

very powerful suction, we use it on stairs and small rugs mostly. could not believe how much crud came up first few uses. seems our old dirt devil was not doing the job. good deep cleaning with this baby. a little heavy, a little loud, but that is o.k. - it does the job.

This is a solid, powerful vacuum. The filter is heavy-duty and seems very durable. It's easily removed and reattached. I use those over-priced compressed air duster cans to blow all the dust and dog hair off of the filter.
