Not so big that you (or only I ) can see it across the yard, but it being on the backporch, just the right size. I am sorry, I did not see, that it has no humidity register, but that's my fault. anyway, for that price, just fine.

I like this thermometer because it's small enough to hang on an outdoor beam and has large enough numbers that I can easily see day, or night. Its price point was also right in my neighborhood.

I put this where I can see it outside, looking through my kitchen window. It's easy to see. Might be a few degrees off, but close enough for me!

After the fiasco with the Acu-Rite 00782A2 Wireless Thermometer I decided to opt for the cheap, simple, old-fashioned, easy to read from a distance outdoor thermometer like my parents have. Sure, this model isn't wireless, there's no indoor receiver to tell me what the temperature is, but I'm also not constantly burning through batteries for both the sending unit and the receiver. All I have to do is look out at the porch and boom...there's the temperature in large black numbers. I don't need to know the temperature down to the tenth of a degree, don't need to know what the high or the low was overnight, I can get that off And isn't that what thermometers are about; the here and now? And I'm sure this will last longer than the wireless device I just threw in the recycle bin!
