The seller did great. Thermometer arrived very quickly and was well-packed. I like the picture on it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I placed it to see from my kitchen window and it's a bit hard to read from a distance. The red on the tip of the indicator helps but there isn't enough contrast to see from approx. 15 feet. Closer up is fine

This thermometer is almost just as viewed. Like a speedometer in a car it has a variance of degrees that I hope I will never need. Living in Virginia Beach I am mostly see it between 60-100 degrees. I would have liked for the degrees to be spaced out a little more so that from inside my living room I can see the difference between 70 and 75 degrees. That is nitpicking a bit though. It does read out an almost accurate temperature (obviously when the sun hits it, it reads warmer than the air temperature). The picture is very nice, and after all that is ultimately why I bought it. So, If you love horses (as I do) I am sure you will enjoy this.
