No more broken handles with our solid welded-steel construction tamps. These are the most rugged tamps you will find on the market!
The 8" tamp comes in 2 different styles, one with a 1/4" steel base plate (New Dec 2004) and one with a 3/8" base plate. The 3/8" plate adds extra weight for more compaction. Both are made with gusset bracing welded to a 1-1/4" x 48" handle. The 1/4" tamp weighs 11 pounds and the 3/8" weighs 13.6 pounds.
The 17.5 pound 10" tamp is made with a 1/4" steel base plate, welded with gusset bracing to a 1-5/8" x 48" handle.
