Aquatic Weed Eradicator (AWE)
The AWE is excellent for controlling lake and pond weeds. No need for dangerous and expensive chemicals - this rake is a bottom cutter, it removes weeds at the source. With a reinforced 28" serrated cutting blade, one doe snot have to worry about the blade bending under a heavy load of weeds. The AWE has grown in popularity every year we have offered it! The AWE comes with an 11', two-piece rust-proof powder-coated aluminum handle.
NEW Sept 2004 - A push button handle splice is now being shipped with all AWE & Lake Rake units. This eliminates the nut & bolt assembly & disassembly process for either putting the handle together or taking it apart for storage. This splice will also be less abrasive to the hands when using the product. This splice will fit all prior models sold and would be a great upgrade for all existing units.
