The Mashalltowns Brush Cleaner and Preserver is just great for cleaning all types of brushes. I watched a video on YouTube and it was as easy as the demon stator said it would be. There is no harsh smell and it goes a long way. The brushes are beautiful as new when dried. I will always try to keep this cleaner on hand to keep my brushes working and looking like new.

Definately worth the price! We pay more for a small container. Think this will clean a lot of brushes for while.

This product is just what it claims to be - THE BEST! I've used it for cleaning brushes for non-water-based primers, latex paints, polyurethane, and gel stain/varnish, and it really does clean them all...anything that's not water-based gets a quick swish in a 1:1 ammonia/water mixture first, then goes dripping into the Masters to be lathered up as usual...nothing has ever needed more than 2 sudsings, and this cleaner works on hands more need for mineral spirits or turpentine!! I skeptically tried restoring some old, groaty, throw-away brushes with absolutely amazing results!

This stuff is just the best for cleaning brushes with all kinds of paint. The newer version is lemon-scented, which is kind of nice if you've been breathing solvent fumes all morning.

In art school, I initially cleaned my oil painting brushes using regular soap. However, I quickly learned that it was quite cumbersome to do so, because I had to hold the soap and it got more difficult when the soap became smaller after a while. So, I switched to Master brush cleaner. I would highly recommend to get the 24oz tub as it has a large surface to wipe the brushes. It is very easy to use and it keeps my brushes in good shape.I follow the following procedure when cleaning my bristle brushes (Isabey or Robert Simmons). They remain like new even after years of usage:1. wipe off oil paints w/ paper towel2. dip the brushes in a container of safflower oil and try to remove as much paint as possible; wipe off3. clean the brushes w/ Masters Brush cleaner (3-4 times) until the water running off the brushes is free of color or foam4. dry and shape brushes w/ paper towelI hope that this helps.

good fragrance-last a long time- looks smaller then when i ordered it- a huge container! REMEMBER dries out if you leave the top off.
