MTX's Blueprint™ Contractor Series is the result of the MTX engineers' extensive use of cutting edge technologies and materials. The MTX CT800SW subwoofer speaker is designed to augment the bass response of a home theater system. It reproduces the Low Frequency Effects (LFE) channel in a home theater system, while eliminating the cluttered floor space of freestanding subwoofer systems. The CT800SW includes a switchable 12 dB/octave 80 Hz lowpass crossover network for use depending on whether the subwoofer is being fed by an LFE source.
