They feature 99.99% pure copper foil windings separated by an extremely thin layer of polypropylene film and tightly wrapped around a hardwood core, resulting in very low magnetoshrinkage factor and virtually zero FM distortion. The foil approach outperforms conventional round-wire inductors by providing over 12 times the surface area through which high-frequency electrons can travel, minimizing skin-effect problems and providing consistently low power-distortion figures. Very close to the "ideal inductor" in all respects, every coil goes through a specially developed Jantzen anti-oxidizing treatment and measurement procedure prior to packaging.
