Overall, these are nicely finished cabinets! The Cherrywood veneer is quite nice with a polished satin finsih! The baffles finish is also quite nice and smooth! The baffle "BREX" system may be desireable for some, if you like replacing your setup with a different set of drivers from time to time without a new set of cabs! There is no seal furnished for the baffles, so that is up to you to buy and install! I found a nice roll of Grip Premium Liner by Con-Tact at Home Depot that makes an excellent seal! Cut into small strips and installed on a ledge in the cab that mates with the baffles for a nice air tight seal! On the particular set I have, the routing was not that impressive where the baffles/cab meet and found when installing the baffle from one speaker to another, they did not fit well! Also, the cabinet seams are not sealed and you have to caulk them to make sure you have a good sealed cab! The baffles need to be masked off before doing any layout of circles and routing to prevent scratching or damage to them! These are thick baffles at about 1 inch or so, so have a good sharp router bit on hand! If you are not into the BREX thing just lay a bead of glue on the cab and glue the baffles down for a permanent placement after all routing is done! Magnets are installed in the grills and held in place by the baffles BREX screws, however they are not all that strong and it was not long before the grills started to slide down the baffle! After closer inspection, I noticed there is a small nipple on the magnets that fits into the baffle screw slots to keep them in place! So care must be taken to install them correctly or they will slide down and possibly damage a dome tweeter! My project turned out quite well overall and am very pleased with the overall result in looks and performance
