Secure-A-Cord screws onto a standard faceplate and braces a power cord so that sudden pulls can't dislodge the plug. When a secured cord is pulled, the tension is taken up by the Secure-A-Cord and not the plug. While durable enough for tough pulls, the Secure-A-Cord is designed to break off before your outlet can be damaged.
