That will not happen when you use the Broan Wireless Doorbell. It installs quickly without the hassle of running any wires. Just mount the transmitter near your door and plug the receiver in to a 120v wall outlet anywhere in your home(this will save you from having to buy batteries!). When the transmitter button is pressed a pleasant chime will sound. Multiple Wireless Button units can be purchased and used at different doors. You can choose from 3 different tones- 8 note Westminster or 2 note ding dong or 1 note ding. Dimensions of the chime are 3 one-eights inches x 4 and three-eights inches.
