Power over Ethernet
Support for Power-over-Ethernet allows the camera to receive both data and power over a single Ethernet cable - which makes the installation easier and cheaper. If connected to a central Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), the camera can continue to operate even when there is a power failure.
The versatile lens suspension allows for wide adjustments by panning, tilting and rotating the varifocal lens to any camera angle desired.
The two-way audio support, including the option of using a built-in microphone enables remote users not only to view, but also to listen in on an area and communicate orders or requests to visitors or intruders. The audio alarm detection enables the AXIS 216FD to give an alarm at a configurable audio detection level.
