The s-video quick connect eliminates the need for any solder connections to the tiny pins typically seen on the back of s-video wall plates. The quick connect wall plates separate the luminance and chroma information of the s-video signal for easy transition to lengthy video cables with coax or screw down termination. You can run two coax cables, one run for the luminance and one for the chroma, and terminate them with "F" connectors and use the "F" wall plate for easy connection of s-video. Or, run s-video cable and use the screw down wall plates for terminating the signal, no need for time consuming solder connections. Wall plates are Decora style and available in white or ivory.
