I am a fan of pashimas and don't insist on a heavy weight scarf. This one is quite light weight but that isn't my complaint. My complaint is the quality of workmanship. This is cheaply made. The black dye is stamped onto the front and does not penetrate well to the back side of the fabric so that that side is definitely the wrong side, significantly lighter than the front. This means you really only want the front of the scarf to show and that significantly inhibits how it can be worn, it must be rolled to hide the back side. The dye on the ends by the fringe is smeared onto the white. There is a little smear in the body of the scarf as well - just enough to make it look like I need to do some laundry. The weave at the end is loose, the fringe isn't nicely done as it is on other pashimas. After one wearing threads are pulling - and that means the dye pattern is disrupted as well. I cannot recommend this product.

Item listed as Zebra Animal Print Pashmina Shawl. This is truly a scarf and is the reason I bought it. My daughter loves this pattern and so I bought this for her for christmas. She loves it and wears it nearly daily.

This was for a friend that lives in a warm climate...and she really loved it (at lease she said she did!). The fabric is very light and airy, so it can be worn without making the wearer too warm.

I will probably be ordering an array of these in the future!I live in a cold, desert climate in Oregon. I was given a Pashmina scarf as a gift from my Father in Law when he returned from Afghanistan. Which is why I ordered one as a gift from this company. Their service is phenomenal and I love their product.Back to the product. I love how thin and soft these are. The best part for me is that it keeps me warm in sub-freezing temps. These are big enough to use as a hat in a pinch and shield me from the piercing cold winds we tend to get here.My kids love using them too. If it is cold outside, I don't leave the house with out one. I usually bring an extra one or two to throw over my children in the car if they get chilled. They fight for it if I don't bring one for each of them.I can't say good enough things about these scarfs. I love them. I love how they double as a shawl, baby blanket and head covering in a pinch. I also love how they are super thin and compact. This is much easier for me than bringing bulk blankets. I wish I figured out this use for them when I started having kids but am really thankful to have the option now!I haven't tried these in the summer yet, but I imagine they will work really well in the the cool evenings we get here and the best part for summer is they are purse friendly. I can slip one in a pocket in my purse and have it along if I need it.To summarize, I love these and if you are considering buying one, I highly recommend doing so. I think you will find you love it enough to buy more to accessorize many different outfits. :)

I was not happy when this item arrived. I have other Pashmina shawls and they are much nicer. The fabric is very flimsy, and it looks like it would fall apart with one wash (even by hand).
