This costume definitely fit the bill for a variety of Halloween events. I used some additional batting in the hat (as another reviewer suggested), grabbed a walking stick we had, and painted our poor old pirate polly black to finalize the accessories.

While I like the quality of the fabric and the feel of the costume the sizing was all wrong. It was so large I could have fit 3 people in the costume with room to spare and I'm not a small person.

I was pleasantly surprised at not only how fast the costume got to me but the quality! I ordered the 3x and although it was a bit too large and I likely could have gotten a size smaller was very pleased with the fit and comfort of the costume.

This was a great costume! I won the Best Costume prize for the party we attended. My only complaints are that the headpiece is a bit itchy on the face and was REALLY tight in the chin/neck area. Also, it was super long - I'm 5' 4" and it was easily 5 inches too long for me. I ordered the 1X and it was HUGE. I could have fit three people in there. The collar did not stand up well either. Even though that sounds like a lot of complaints, it was well worth the money (especially at 25% off) and the robe was super comfortable. It was nice to wear a pair of sweatpants and a tshirt underneath it and still look fabulous!I usually hate Halloween because all of the costumes are so skimpy and that just doesn't work for me. It was great to be able to wear something fun, modest, and comfortable!

This costume will be the hit of the party! I have the makeup ready and this is exactly like the costume in the movie. Will be using this for a couple of years since the sewing is good quality.

I bought this costume 3 years ago and I love it!I went toWest Hollywood for their annual Halloween parade and was stopped over 50 times to have my picture taken. I feel like a celebrity when I wear this costume.
