Our corsets are typically constructed of a flexible material (like cloth or leather) stiffened with 12 boning inserted into channels in the cloth or leather.

    ** How to put on a corset by yourself?
    1. Loosen the laces so that you can put it on comfortably.
    2. Carefully line up the two sides of your busk on the front of the corset. Line up the pins and the holes and clip the busk together.
    3. Tighten the lacing. Starting from the top. Next, go to the bottom of the lacing and pull the laces tighter there. Then working the bottom half of the lacing tighter.
    4. Tie off the loose lacing on the back of your corset.

    This corset is well made and beautiful. However, the material and boning are very unforgiving. You should order this one size larger for comfort and ease of use, or dead on your measurements to really cinch snug (and I mean go measure yourself properly). Guys, don't buy for the mrs. or girlfriend without good measurements, either. You'll be much happier if you heed my sage advice. Can't beat the price, though....even if you risk poor fit, still probably worth it for the hotness factor. :-)

    I love this corset! The pictures don't do it justice. The metallic design almost glows. The fabric is thick brocade of high quality. The boning is very stiff. I was expecting something less supportive, more for decoration than actual shaping, but it has a firm hold. And it came with a matching thong!
