This works like a charm. Comes in so handy on my laptop. When I first plugged it in after removing it from the package, the scroll wheel worked fine, but the mouse cursor would not work. I was going to return the mouse, but I kept it plugged in overnight in the laptop. The next morning, no problems. Does exactly what it says it would.

Even with the info posted in a review from another user I can not get this unit to work properly with the calculator function in my Macbook Pro. I'm really disappointed as this would have solved the mouse-10 key problem inherent in a laptop setup

This is a great product for people that use a key pad for their work, it much easier to use, less hand movement, by using the key pad with the mouse I'm not having to go back and forth from the mouse to the key pad on my computer, it;s all in one and im faster and doing my work.

This does what the seller says. But, it's big and clumsy for me to use as a mouse so I'm not using it, have gotten separate mouse and numeric pad for my work.

This little device is almost singlehandedly responsible for me being able to get rid of my old, clunky desktop. I can now use my little laptop and do all my financial work with the 10-key pad.

If you pack a netbook or laptop w/o a 10 key number pad, then this is the item for you. I use it for entering alot of data into spreadsheets and forms. This is a very handy gadget. I can move the cursor just like a regular mouse and then key in data w/o even moving my hand from it.The DPI is actually 800 dpi and not 400 dpi which is stated in the description. This is much better. Additionally, you can select either mouse, number, or keypad functions or any combination of two or all three. The scroll wheel has a nice click feel as does the right and left mouse buttons.Although the manufacturers web site says it has mechanical keys it does not. I wish it did have mechanical keys like cherry blues or a old IBM M. It merely makes use of scissor mechanism giving it a similar feel of a netbook keypad w/ chicklet keys. After a couple of weeks use, I am becoming accustomed to punching the keys down really hard as they do not always register if you do not.The cord is about 30 long. The cord is a little stiff - somewhat of a plastic feel - instead of nice and rubbery so it wants to retain the kinks from being wound up in the package. A day or so of hanging across a rear view mirror in the sun will probably do wonders for it. I've been wanting to try this as it has worked well in the past for other cords that suffered from this problem, but I have been using the keypad too much lately for it to take any time out for that. The item came in very nice and secure packaging which seems to protect the item very well.Overall, I am pleased with it. It fills my need of a mouse and a number keypad while still remaining portable and affordable enough to pack along w/ my netbook.
